Description Ring Sling: The Girasol ring sling – a wonderful alternative or addition to the wrap The ring sling is made from a wrap in proven twill, herringbone or diamond weave with specially manufactured quality aluminum rings, sewn with gathers and is available in two lengths. Thanks to the simple but clever mechanism of the double rings, the ring sling can be put on quickly and securely. The ring sling can be used from birth (also suitable for preemies) and is often the perfect entry for anyone who wants an uncomplicated start to babywearing. Even exhausted toddlers are often happy to be carried short distances in the ring sling. Thanks to its small packed size it fits in practically any handbag or backpack. Which size do I need? We offer the ring sling in two sizes: 1.70 m and 2.00 m, each measured on the short side. The required length of the ring sling depends mainly on the body shape of the wearer. The ring sling should lie on your body like a sash. If you are unsure, feel free to contact us! As a rule the sizes fit as follows: Size 1 – 1.70 m (measured on the short side) Suitable for clothing sizes XS – L Size 2 – 2.00 m (measured on the short side) Suitable for clothing sizes XL + Material: Handwoven wrap fabric made from 100% untreated cotton, sling rings made of aluminum, guaranteed free of lead and nickel Weave: Diamond Weight: approx. 228 g/m² Gather-sewn Newborns to toddlers Machine washable up to 60 degrees. To protect material and the environment, we recommend washing at up to 40 degrees and using a mild detergent. Because of the rings, please wash in a laundry bag or pillowcase and use a low spin speed (max. 900 rpm). Please never use fabric softener!
